This analysis deals with Directive and Expressive Illocutionary Act which occur on members of PUNK community in Lubuk Pakam. This community is a group of people who claimed that they are gathered because they have same principle of life. Commonly, they are teen-agers who come from various part of Indonesia, such as Aceh, Sumatera, Java, Bali and so on. Directive Illocutionary act is chosen because this speech act are mostly used as strategic communication in their daily activities such as asking, begging, inviting. The purpose of this analysis are (1) to find out kinds of Directive Illocutionary act which are used among members of PUNK community and with other people, and (2) to find out the dominant kind of Directive Illocutionary act used.  This analysis used Pragmatic theory and descriptive- qualitative method. The data are the utterance and the informant are members of PUNK community in Lubuk Pakam.
