The mantra is often considered to be just a series of meaningless words that aim to create a mystical atmosphere when read. However, the choice of words is certainly something that is not without purpose. Indirectly, the concept and mindset of the spell compiler are illustrated by the choices he said. Its happened in the mantra Minangkabau which still found and used by many people even in this modern era.Therefore, this paper will explain the concepts and mindsets of Minangkabau people who are depicted through diction in the mantra. The Minangkabau mantra that is used as research data is an immortal mantra. Qualitative methods are used in this study with data collection techniques through repeated reading, identification, and classification of selected texts. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using Levistrauss structuralism theory
