THE CONSERVATION OF ANCIENT SUNDANESE SCRIPT THROUGH TRAINING THE TRANSLITERATION: Pioneering Smart Village-Based Local Culture West Bandung West Java Indonesia

 Abstract


The conservation of Ancient Sundanese script transliterations are implemented through training in the consecration effected the existence of concerns towards the conditions of the manuscripts (manuscript; handscrift) the ancient Sundanese have already rotted so unreadable due to damaged eat the termites and exposed to a ticking time bomb. These conditions can cause the text content of the information contained therein is not tergali and is not carried to next-generation. Based on such background, there is a need to activities undertaken to provide training on the procedures of collecting, documenting, describe, and provide the training mechanism of Sundanese script transliteration Latin Arabic into Latin alphabet. Ancient Sundanese script is a script that is derived from a collection of individual texts or who are still scattered among the public. The Community target is a field of study teacher community group Sundanese in Bandung Regency. The approach used is the philological approach. The method used is the method of training and workshops. The result is that teachers study in Sundanese West Bandung Regency,West Java Indonesia generally has a strategic role in preserving Ancient Sundanese script. The teacher's role is very important to give you information about the preservation of ancient Sundanese script is located in the area where they live. Script transliteration results as well as its educational value containing the wisdom of local culture can be utilized as an alternative material taught in school.
